Fort Myers lands TZ Insurance

TZ Insurance Solutions LLC could earn up to $600,000 in economic incentives for creating 125 jobs while expanding into the Fort Myers area.

Combined monies from Lee County and the state of Florida will provide TZ Insurance with a qualified tax incentive worth up to $273,000. The county will be responsible for 20% of that amount, while the state will contribute the remainder.

TZ Insurance was also approved for an incentive of up to $312,500 through the Lee County Job Opportunity Program, according to the Fort Myers Regional Partnership.

"As our search for an expansion location progressed, it became quite clear the Fort Myers area offered many of the key components that would ensure our success,” said Anthony Solazzo, a senior vice president with TZ Insurance, citing Lee County's workforce as a key factor.

TZ Insurance Solutions LLC is based in Fort Lee, N.J., and already operates one Gulf Coast-based location in Tampa.
