Sunovia Energy Technologies will triple the size of its current facility and expand its workforce by 68 employees over the next three years, said Kathy Baylis, president of the Sarasota County EDC, in a release.

The release says the EDC used “local performance-based incentives” that could total up to $100,000 over three years to help convince Sunovia to relocate to an 18,000 square foot facility in the Centennial Commerce Center at Cattlemen and Fruitville Roads.

The 68 new hires Baylis has announced would nearly quadruple Sunovia's workforce, which presently stands at 20 employees.

Sunovia develops, designs and markets products using renewable energy and energy conservation technologies.
