PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Elite Holdings of Manatee LLC purchased the 7,000-square-foot former Ambient Air flex building for $340,000.
The price equated to $49 per square foot of building space. The 3,000-square-foot-office building was built in 2006 and occupies a half-acre.
Elite Heating & Air Inc. and its sister company, Elite Custom Plumbing, plan to make the building its corporate headquarters. Todd Thompson runs the companies, which have 15 employees.
“It was a larger facility and I thought it was a good price at the time,” Thompson says. “It will give us additional warehousing space.”
