Premier Community Healthcare buys Pasco Avenue building

PRICE: $1.3 million

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Premier Community Healthcare Group purchased a 7,246-square-foot medical office building on Pasco Avenue, west of Old Lakeland Highway. The $1.3 million purchase price equated to $179 per square foot. Premier Community Healthcare Group moved its Women's Health Center to the building in 2008.


The company purchased the property to enhance patient care, says Sue Hutson, director of marketing and development for Premier Community Healthcare Group.


“Our plans for the immediate future include securing funding to allow us to offer services at the regional hurricane shelter in West Pasco,” Hutson says.


Premier Community Healthcare Group mortgaged the property to Florida Traditions Bank for $1.29 million.


Premier Community HealthCare Group provides adult, pediatric healthcare, OB/GYN, dental, behavioral health services and some pharmacy services. The company also offers wellness programs, such as diabetes management and smoking cessation.
