Admiral Travel Gallery, the Sarasota-based travel agency known for putting together star-studded cruises and safaris, has added another exclusive trip to its repertoire: A culinary journey with Bon Appetit magazine, the esteemed epicurean periodical.

The travel agency will work each year with the magazine's editors to design a trip centered on food, wine and the best places to get the best of both. “Culinary tourism is one of the fastest growing trends,” says Malaka Hilton, co-owner of Admiral, which has about $13 million in annual revenues from booking its trips.

The first partnership with Bon Appetit, scheduled for October, will be an 11-day trip to South Africa coordinated by agency co-owner Ryan Hilton. A Bon Appetit editor is also expected to make the trip, which includes a stay at One &
Only in Cape Town, considered one of the leading restaurants and resorts in the country.

Previous Admiral trips include a walking tour in Morocco led by Sir Winston Churchill's granddaughter and a trip to Turkey with Salvatore Ferragamo, grandson and namesake of the famous Italian shoe designer.
