Holidays in July (Tampa edition)
The Young Lawyers Section of the St. Petersburg Bar Association hosted "Holidays in July" at Sunrise Lanes in St. Petersburg on July 17.
The event drew 200 disadvantaged children from St. Petersburg for a morning of bowling, face painting and fun. Each child was given lunch and the chance to pick a toy from hundreds provided by the Young Lawyers through donations from local attorneys and businesses.
The annual event is designed to benefit foster children, abused children and children at-risk. Participating organizations included Safe Children Coalition, Operation PAR, Salvation Army, Family Resources Youth, YWCA of Tampa Bay, Alpha House and CASA.
