Tampa firm adds six attorneys,

including two veteran lawyers

Two former Carlton Fields partners, Jill Bowman and J. Andrew Meyer, recently joined James, Hoyer, Newcomer & Smiljanich PA as plaintiff attorneys specializing in class actions and civil litigation.

Bowman and Meyer worked in Carlton Fieldsi St. Petersburg office. At James Hoyer, they are also partners.

In addition, James, Hoyer also recently hired four associates o Tamra Carsten, Dawn Woolweaver, Jess Ray and Rachel Wagoner o and investigator Michael Mihok, a retired FBI agent.

James Hoyer, founded in 1993, now has 21 attorneys in Tampa and Tallahassee.

Bankruptcy attorney joins

Hill, Ward & Henderson

Attorney Paige A. Greenlee joined Hill, Ward & Henderson PA as an associate in the creditorsi rights and bankruptcy group. She previously worked for Akerman Senterfitt.

Tampa firm adds

two new associates

Macfarlane Ferguson & McMullen hired two new associates o K. Clayton Bricklemyer and Michael P. Silver o for the firmis Tampa office.

Bricklemyer, who received a law degree from the University of Florida this year, will concentrate his practice on real estate transactions. Silver, also a University of Florida law school graduate, will focus on business litigation and professional liability litigation.

Two Fowler White Boggs Banker attorneys o Janice Matson Rickert and Fred S. Werdine o are in the 2005 class of Leadership Tampa Bay, a program of the Tampa Chamber of Commerce.

GrayRobinson expands,

opens Jacksonville office

GrayRobinson PA has opened a law office in Jacksonville, its third new office to open in 12 months. Overall, the firm has nine offices.

Two months ago, the firm opened an office in Naples. Last December, it expanded into Key West.

Kenneth B. Jacobs will serve as the Jacksonville managing partner.

In other GrayRobinson news, Christine A. Donoghue was elected to the Florida Defense Lawyeris Associationis board of directors.

Donoghue, an attorney in the Tampa office of GrayRobinson PA, practices general civil litigation law. She earned bacheloris and law degrees from the University of Florida.
