SARASOTA — Screenmobile has launched a new location in Sarasota.

Screenmobile specializes in window, door and patio porch screens as well as solar shading products. Screenmobile of Sarasota is the seventh location for the brand in Florida, according to a press release. It will serve homes and businesses in Anna Maria, Bradenton, Bradenton Beach, Cortez, Longboat Key and Sarasota.

In one visit, a Screenmobile representative arrives in uniform, and then measures, manufactures, installs and tests the screens on-site, the release says.

“I’m thrilled to be opening my Screenmobile location and serving the local Sarasota communities,” says Ross Johnston, owner of Screenmobile of Sarasota, in the statement. “As an owner of another Screenmobile location, I know what a great feeling it is to offer my neighbors an affordable screening option — I’m excited for the year ahead!”

Prior to launching his new license in Sarasota, Johnston had a background as a business owner. Johnson owns Screenmobile of Indianapolis and has a landscaping company that he operates.

“We are excited to expand into this Sarasota territory and the surrounding areas and look forward to driving business within the region,” says Scott Walker, president and CEO of Screenmobile, in the statement. "Johnston is the perfect choice to help establish the brand in this part of Florida because of his proven work ethic. We are thrilled to continue working with Ross as he opens this new location.”

From its inception in California in 1980, Screenmobile has experienced steady growth year after year, according to a press release. Today, it has 130 licenses across more than 28 states.
