FORT MYERS — Quigley Eye Specialists has acquired the facial plastic surgery practice of Dr. Stephen Prendiville, who, along with his staff, will remain with the merged company as part of its new cosmetic surgery division.
Quigley Eye Specialists, based in Fort Myers, also named Prendiville medical director, in which role he will also work with Assuage Luxury Spa, a Quigley property that has locations in Fort Myers and Naples.
According to a press release, Prendiville, who has performed more than 5,000 surgical procedures, will continue to see patients at his Fort Myers office, located at 9407 Cypress Lake Drive.
“Dr. Prendiville has an excellent reputation and is the only double board-certified facial plastic surgeon in Fort Myers,” states Dr. Thomas Quigley, founder of Quigley Eye Specialists. “We are expanding our service offering to include refractive surgery, such as LASIK, and facial cosmetic surgery. Dr. Prendiville’s experience, surgical skills and leadership make his practice the perfect fit for Quigley Eye Specialists.”
Prendiville, the release states, is the only Fellowship-trained facial plastic surgeon in Fort Myers who is certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology, which sets standards for head and neck surgeons.
“Working together is a logical next step in our growth,” Prendiville states in the release. “We serve similar populations that want to look good, feel good about themselves and see their best.”
