Naples-based builder DeAngelis Diamond has promoted Josh Willard from project executive to director of operations — Naples.

Willard had been a project executive with the firm since March 2021. Prior to that, he was an operations manager with Manhattan Construction in Naples for 14 years. In his new DeAngelis Diamond role, Willard will oversee operations within the Southwest Florida market, according to a statement. He has over 23 years of construction experience, bringing extensive knowledge in leading teams to achieve operational goals for complex projects to DeAngelis Diamond.

His project portfolio, the release adds, totals over 3.2 million square feet and $1 billion. Some of his project highlights include the construction of two high rise towers at Kalea Bay; the 215-feet tall construction of the new RSW Air Traffic Control Tower at  Southwest Florida International Airport; the 224,000-square-foot Cape Coral VA Hospital; and the 300,000-square-foot Luminary Hotel.

“Josh’s leadership and large, complex project experience makes him the perfect person to take on this position,” Reggie Morgan, COO of DeAngelis Diamond, says in the release. “His values parallel that of our company and we believe that his knowledge, ability to lead teams, and reputation for building lasting relationships with clients, make him the deserving recipient of this new role as director of operations.”

DeAngelis Diamond is a national construction management firm, specializing in commercial, multifamily, and healthcare construction with more than 26 years of general contracting experience across the United States and in the Caribbean Islands. It had $365 million in revenue in 2021.
