FORT MYERS — A slate of new officers has been elected to serve on Lee Health’s board of directors for 2020.
According to a news release, mortgage banker David Collins will serve as board chairman, while Therese Everly, a respiratory therapist and licensed realtor, has been elected vice chairwoman.
Donna Clarke, the release states, has been elected treasurer. Clarke, a former Florida state representative, serves as co-president of the Fort Myers Kiwanis Club.
The board secretary position has been filled by Diane Champion, a longtime Lehigh Acres resident and business owner.
“We appreciate the officers’ commitment to serving our community and we are thankful to have such an accomplished group of Board members working to further our dedication to provide the highest quality care,” states Larry Antonucci, M.D, Lee Health’s president and CEO, in the release.
Lee Health, formerly known as Lee Memorial Health System, was founded in 1916 when it opened its first hospital in southwest Florida.
