LAKEWOOD RANCH — The corporate controller at Florida Digestive Health Specialists just got a big promotion to a senior level position.
Michelle Hough was named the new CFO of the statewide gastroenterology network. She joined the Lakewood Ranch-based organization in 2016, overseeing the central billing office as well as providing comprehensive financial reviews of the corporate office, 26 clinics, pathology lab, research institute and a variety of additional ancillary service lines, according to a statement.
“I’m honored to be part of an organization that has demonstrated significant strategic growth, and shows immense dedication to its physicians, team members and patients,” says Hough in the statement. “Our teams positively impact communities across the state, and I’m looking forward to even further advancement for years to come.”
Before joining the Florida Digestive Health Specialists team, Hough managed the corporate accounting division at Lakewood Ranch-based Roper Technologies Inc. In her new position, Hough will be responsible for advancing the financial success of acquisitions, mergers and new ventures. She will also provide current and future growth potential through data-driven perspectives, the release states.
“Michelle has been an integral part of our team and her impressive results as corporate controller makes her a great fit for her new role,” says Vincent Hayes, Florida Digestive Health Specialists COO, in the release. “We look forward to her further contributions to our rapid statewide expansion.”
