Tony Dahlin has been named the president of the IT and security solutions provider. He originally started at the Illinois division in 2019 with his background in access control systems and security best practices knowledge. At the time, Dahlin was also focused on maintaining his business Bullis Systems.

While he was the director of security solutions, Dahlin was responsible for leading a team of solutions specialists, architects and technicians who oversaw hundreds of successful security and information technology installations. He’s hoping to see that success continue through the new role.

“In 2021 we have seen a lot of growth in the Sarasota market,” he says. “I am excited to take on the role of president and continue to grow our footprint throughout the area. Current Technologies brings a lot to the table when it comes to helping organizations meet their technology and security needs. With all the growth in Southwest Florida, we are excited to help whenever and wherever possible.”

Current Technologies has been in operation in the Chicago area since 1997 and recently opened a Florida division headquartered in Sarasota. Current Technologies provides IT security solutions including video, door management and video analytics to local governments, education facilities and small to medium businesses. The company expanded to Florida in late 2020.
