NAPLES — Conditioned Air Co. has named Tim Dupre president and CEO.

Dupre has served as president and COO of the company since 2015. He will replace longtime CEO and partner Theo Etzel III, who will continue with the company as chairman. The company had $49 million in revenue last year.

“This announcement is the culmination of several years of discussion, strategic planning, leadership development and execution,” says Etzel in a statement. “Tim is a partner in Conditioned Air and is the perfect person to take over the helm. He shares our dedication to ethical business practices and employee empowerment and will do a wonderful job in continuing to grow this organization. Tim actually has been handling the responsibilities of the role of CEO for the past two years. He is a young man who truly has earned this promotion.”

Conditioned Air is Southwest Florida’s largest air conditioning contracting and service firm with more than 345 employees in Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Sarasota and Manatee counties. A 20-year veteran of Conditioned Air, Dupre learned the basics of general construction from his grandfather, who was a local contractor. He joined Conditioned Air after high school, working his way up by serving custom home, multi-family, light commercial and production housing projects.

Based in Naples, Conditioned Air provides services in light commercial and residential HVAC systems including design, engineering, estimation, installation and maintenance of new construction, refrigeration, indoor air quality and dehumidification systems.
