Those suffering from cancer and their families have enough on their plates without worrying about cleaning them — and everything in the house. That’s why Naples-based Gigi Clean has joined with nonprofit Cleaning For a Reason to offer free house detailing to cancer patients who reside in Southwest Florida.

Gigi Clean joins more than 1,200 residential cleaners throughout the United States and Canada that have donated more than $11 million in services and helped more than 34,000 cancer patients since 2006 in association with Cleaning For a Reason.

“Cancer patients need to focus on their health and recovery, and a clean home is an essential part of their effort,” says Gigi Bachmann, founder and CEO of Gigi Clean. “Households impacted by cancer face so many challenges and worrying about a clean house shouldn’t be one of them. This is our way of giving back to the community that has been so generous to the success of our business.”

Gigi Clean uses only non-toxic products and technology such as water-filtered vacuums to deep-clean, something cancer patients can appreciate as they can be particularly sensitive to chemicals and fumes emitted by artificial products. The green products Gigi Clean uses are made with botanicals and other non-toxic ingredients that are safe for people and pets.
