Denver-based barbershop chain set to expand in region

Floyd’s 99 Barbershop will open five franchise locations in Tampa.

TAMPA — Floyd’s 99 Barbershop, a Denver-based chain of barbershops that cater to both men and women, has signed an agreement that will see local franchisees Eric Peerless and Judah Rubin open five shops in south Tampa over the next four years.

The brand already had a strong presence in central Florida, with barbershops in Longwood, Orlando, Oviedo and Winter Park. According to a news release, Floyd’s 99 expects to add 40 barbershops in the southeast over the next five years and is also targeting Collier County for expansion.
