PLANS, DESCRIPTION: National homebuilder D.R. Horton Inc. purchased 20 lots in Bucks Run Reserve for $1.2 million.
The price equated to $60,000 per lot.
The homebuilder has been building in the gated community since January. It had agreed to acquire a total of 60 lots.
The property features two lakes and abuts two preserves.
“This property is geared to the family buyer,” says Lindsey Pierson, a spokeswoman for D.R. Horton.
Homes in the community are being priced from about $250,000 to $350,000. The various home models feature a range of sizes from 1,804 to 3,552 square feet.
The homebuilder has also agreed to purchase the remaining lots at nearby Summit Place.
