FORT MYERS — An executive with more than 30 years of management experience in the waste industry was promoted from regional vice president of Waste Pro’s West Coast Region to senior vice president.

In his time as regional vice president, Keith Banasiak has led one of the company’s largest regions with more than 275,000 residential customers and more than 10,000 commercial customers across Florida’s West Coast from Levy County to Collier County, according to a news release.

“Our West Coast Region is one of, if not the, strongest regions across our 10-state footprint,” Waste Pro President Sean Jennings says in the release. “Keith’s experience and deep knowledge of the industry has led him to make excellent choices for management across the region, allowing the opportunity for continual rapid growth. He and his team are always striving to be the best waste provider not just in the region, but across all of Florida.”

In addition to his industry experience, Banasiak is an active community volunteer and serves as the chairman emeritus of both Keep Lee County Beautiful and Keep Manatee Beautiful. He also serves as finance chairman for the Community Cooperative and a board member for The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools.
