CLEARWATER — iHeart Media & Entertainment is moving from its longtime home on Gandy Boulevard in Tampa to new digs.

The company, formerly Clear Channel Broadcasting, has signed a 10-year lease for 13,581 square feet in Clearwater. The new studios will be at Waterview at Feather Sound, a six story tower in the Feather Sound Corporate Center Office Park.

iHeart Media operates 11 stations in the Tampa Bay market, including legendary stations like 98Rock, 93.3 WFLZ and NewsRadio WFLA. It’s also been home to the famous — and infamous. Among the personalities who’ve worked at the Gandy studios are Glenn Beck, Jack Harris, Bubba the Love Sponge and Steve Duemig.

The company sold its iconic studio in May for $3.8 million, according to Hillsborough County records.

Ciminelli Real Estate Service, which brokered the lease for the landlords, says in a statement announcing the move that the studios will be relocating. A spokeswoman for the firm says the move will hopefully occur mid-year in 2022.
