Airport debuts flights to Vegas, Charleston

Southwest Florida gamblers and lovers of Old South architecture now have breezy options to get their favorite destinations from Fort Myers.

Their path? Breeze Airways recently debuted nonstop flights from Southwest Florida International Airport to Las Vegas and Charleston, South Carolina — the first nonstop service to each city out of the airport, under the call letters RSW. The flights to each city debuted June 11, according to a statement. The flights will operate twice a week, utilizing a brand new A220-300 aircraft, with 126 seats in a three-class configuration, the statement adds.
