Sarasota hospital foundation names top finance official

Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation has named Shana Meadows director of finance and operations.

Meadows has more than 25 years of financial management and operational oversight experience and was most recently manager of the finance department at the Sarasota Police Department. Meadows, according to a statement, "will be responsible for implementing policies and procedures in finance, accounting, compliance administration and granting and gift processing."

“We’re excited to welcome Shana to our team,” Healthcare Foundation President Stacey Corley says in the release. “Her extensive experience in finance and business administration will support our growth and further our mission to provide SMH with the critical resources it needs to bring world-class healthcare to our community.”

The Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation is the philanthropic partner of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System, a community health nonprofit.
