BONITA SPRINGS — Matterhorn Fit, a rehabilitation and training center that recently opened a second Southwest Florida location, has named Kenny Turano Partner and CFO.

Turano, with 16 years of experience in both public and private equity management, will be responsible for leading the company’s effort to open more locations, according to a statement. Matterhorn currently operates its headquarters in Bonita Springs and plans to open a second location, in Naples, Oct. 1.

Turano was most recently a principal at a Greenwich, Connecticut-based private equity group, where he sourced and executed deals to drive growth at portfolio companies. He joined this firm after 13 years holding various investment roles at Manhattan-based fund managers.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kenny to our growing team,” Matterhorn Fit CEPO and co-founder Ryan Vesce says in the statement. “His skill set, work ethic and character will allow us to accelerate our growth and scale our proprietary process.”

Vesce and partner Sean Sullivan founded Matterhorn Fit in 2018, according to the statement, “to provide everyday individuals with the same rehabilitation process used by the world’s best athletes.” Today Matterhorn works with over 50 professional athletes, 11 Olympians and thousands of active individuals in Southwest Florida. It uses a proprietary brain-based rehabilitation and movement process with clients.

“I am excited to join the Matterhorn Fit team and assist the organization in capitalizing on the many opportunities that exist to drive organic and inorganic growth,” Turano says in the release. “Everything at Matterhorn starts with an unwavering commitment to serve our clients. I’m honored to be a part of such a strong brand developed by Ryan and Sean and look forward to bringing the unique Matterhorn process to more people across Southwest Florida.”

Turano received a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University, where he was a four-year varsity athlete.
