BRADENTON — Bradenton-based The Makers Market and Workshops received national recognition when it was recently named a winner of the 2018 American Small Business Championship by SCORE.

According to a press release, SCORE is the country's largest network for volunteer business mentors. SCORE awarded the title to 102 entrepreneurs, including Makers Market.

Makers Market submitted an application and the entries with at least 100 votes were presented to a judging panel of small business experts who determined the winners.

In October 2016, Jennifer Bade and Jennifer Gunter started the company, which hosts creative workshops. For more information on the company, read the Business Observer article about Makers Market.
