Does your office need a makeover? Or maybe you're moving your business into a new space and need to furnish it?
Bill and Joni Adams, the husband-and-wife team that founded Tampa-based Reimagine Office Furnishings 25 years ago, can, in their words, help you “visualize what's possible with office furniture today.”
They will do that through the company's massive new Ybor City showroom, which opened Nov. 2 and allows customers to peruse the latest trends in office furniture designs from more than 100 manufacturers. The couple say they envision the 20,000-square-foot facility, about three miles east of downtown Tampa, becoming a regional destination for companies in the Tampa Bay area as well as Lakeland, Orlando and Southwest Florida.
“Many clients come to us wanting to build a more collaborative and less formal office environment,” states Bill Adams, ROF's president, in a press release. “This is possible now because technology has digitized files and documents, freeing up more space in offices.”
Prior to the opening of its new showroom, ROF was already one of the biggest names in office furniture in the Tampa Bay region. It employs more than 100 people at its other facility, a remanufacturing center (the company's original name was Refurbished Office Furniture) that sells used name-brand furniture from the likes of Steelcase, Herman Miller and Haworth at steep discounts. The company had $17 million in revenue in 2016, up 13.33% from $15 million in 2015.
