Best Home Services, a Naples-based electric, plumbing and air conditioning company, is expanding north, to Charlotte and Sarasota counties.
Steve Nix, a longtime associate at Best, has been promoted to training manager to support the expansion, according to a statement. He will be responsible for training and development of the HVAC, plumbing and electric technicians and other associate, the release adds.
Nix, previously manager of the company's plumbing division, will be based in the headquarters. He began his career with Best in 2004.
Best Home Services has been operating in southwest Florida since 1980. The company has more than 100 technicians and other associates who work out of the company's remodeled 40,000-square-foot headquarters.
