Lazydays, the Seffner-based recreational vehicle giant, is adding a new brand of RVs to its fleet to help the firm make a push into a new market.

Lazydays already has more than 1,400 RVs on site at its Tampa location and features what it calls the largest selection of RV brands nationwide.

And in late 2015 it added Featherlite trailers to the list, says Lazydays' Chief Marketing Officer John Lebbad. The move will help the RV dealer launch into the equestrian market — an area Featherlite says serves as an industry leader.

The full line of Featherlite trailers will be sold by Lazydays, including its luxury trailer that features separate living quarters suitable for horses and people while on the road. Adding the new line of trailers helps Lazydays attract lifestyle customers, Lebbad says, which includes people involved in equestrian, motor sports and tailgating.

Florida is a “very important equestrian market,” Lebbad says, and that plays a large role in Lazydays marketing strategy. That includes sponsoring equestrian events at the Florida State Fairgrounds.
