VENICE — A concrete repair company based in Milwaukee, Concrete & Masonry Restoration, is expanding to Florida with an office in north Venice.

Officials with the firm, in a release, say they sought out Florida for its “favorable year-round work conditions and a booming construction industry.”

The company has clients nationwide, where it works with municipalities, architects and engineers, according to a release. Its focus is on doing work that restores public safety on a variety of buildings and structures through specialty coatings, structural injections, waterproofing, shotcrete repairs and expansion joint repairs.

Clients include the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Blood Center of Wisconsin, the city of Milwaukee, the city of Madison and U.S. Bank. The firm, the release adds, also recently won a bid for a large-scale, multimillion dollar parking structure restoration project in Anchorage, Alaska.

Concrete & Masonry Restoration chose Venice for its Florida office because it's centrally located between Fort Myers and Tampa. The company now seeks to hire staff to grow the facility.

“One of the benchmarks of our business has always been an exceptional team,” Concrete & Masonry Restoration President Timothy Gibb says in the statement. “Our staff expertly delivers projects on time and with a focus on safety, quality and ethics that turn our business contacts into long-standing partners.”
