TAMPA —Aptaris, a Tampa-based enterprise marketing and promotions company, has appointed William Gilmour as its chief financial officer.

Gilmour has more than 20 years of finance management experience in the software industry. Most recently, Gilmour was executive vice president and CFO at Saxotech, a Tampa-based software company that provides content management systems and hosted websites for media organizations. Gilmour is credited with helping the company to sell itself to private equity investors.

Prior to Saxotech, Gilmour was CFO and later a member of the board of directors for Alogent Corp., an enterprise payment processing software firm that was acquired by Goldleaf Financial Solutions.

“Business agility is a priority for us and our clients,” Tom O'Reilly, CEO of Aptaris, says in a press release. “Bill's addition to the executive team will ensure we remain nimble and continue advancing our software development to be responsive across the entire promotions lifecycle.... He is committed to organizational growth and implementing systems, strategies and processes to improve business performance.”
