NAPLES — IberiaBank says it has promoted David Gordley president of the Naples market.

Gordley, an Ohio native with more than 20 years in corporate banking, served most recently as IberiaBank's commercial banking group manager for Collier County. According to the latest data from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., IberiaBank has the fifth-largest share of deposits in Collier County with $718 million, or 6.7% market share.

“We've seen strong momentum in our commercial and business banking portfolio in Southwest Florida,” said Jim Gburek, IberiaBank's regional state president for Florida.

Lafayette, La.-based IberiaBank entered the Southwest Florida market in 2009 when it acquired Naples-based Orion Bank after regulators shut it down. IberiaBank reported $13 billion in assets as of Dec. 31 with 276 offices throughout the South.
