CAPE CORAL — JRL Ventures is moving into a 5,000-square-foot facility in Cape Coral to expand its manufacturing operations. The company will soon begin building aerospace simulators, a statement says.

The company is withholding the location of its new operations because some of its work is government-related, according to president Matt Chambers.

Along with its sister company Marine Concepts, JRL Ventures currently operates 60,000 square feet of manufacturing space in three cities: Cape Coral, Pine Island and Sarasota. The firm specializes in fiberglass tooling, which has a number of industrial uses, including vehicle parts and wind energy generation machinery.

The addition of the new facility is also necessary because of increased demand in the wind energy industry, as well as in recreational boat manufacturing, which is the business focus of Marine Concepts. Additionally, JRL will hire 10 new employees over the next few months to spur production.

JRL Ventures is led by Chambers and owner J. Robert Long. The company is headquartered in Cape Coral, on Pine Island Road.
