Oragenics adds two to board

Oragenics Inc., a Tampa-based biophamaceuticals company, has added Frederick Telling and Charles Pope to its board of directors, a release said.

Telling worked for Pfizer Inc. for 30 years before retiring in 2007. During his time with the company, he served as corporate vice president, as well as vice president of corporate strategic planning and policy.

Pope currently serves as chief financial officer and chief operating officer for Tampa-based Palm Bank. He has previously held the position of CFO with several other companies, including SRI/Surgical Express, Aerosonic Corp., and UTEK Corp.

Oragenics develops pharmaceutical products, and specializes in oral biology.
