Clockwork Home Services, a Sarasota-based franchise operator of home services companies, is changing the format of its brand leadership structure in 2010.

For the first time ever, Clockwork will utilize a president for each of the company's brands.

The president, a franchisee voted on by other franchisees, will coordinate the brand's national and regional marketing efforts. The Clockwork brands include One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, and Mister Sparky, America's On'time Electrician.

“When we looked at the criteria we felt a president needed, it only made sense to elevate a successful franchisee to that post,” Clockwork president and chief executive Jim Abrams says in a press release announcing the move. “Who better to lead the fastest growing franchises than one of our most successful business owners?”

The brand presidents will serve two-year terms beginning this month. Tab Hunter, who had been president of Clockwork's franchise operations until he left the company late last year, will serve as a consultant for the new brand presidents.
