PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Seema Rihani of Fort Myers and Ashok Nanda of Bonita Springs purchased the building and business of Wellington Academy in Fort Myers, a private preschool and daycare center.
The entrepreneurs purchased the 7,560-square-foot main building and a 3,843-square-foot building next door for $1.24 million. The price equated to $109 per square foot.
The buyers declined to comment on the purchase price for the total business. However, Rihani and Nanda did say they plan to continue to run the school in its current form. They previously ran a similar school in India.
The larger building was originally built in 1985 and the smaller one was built in 1989. The two parcels cover 1.2 acres.
The purchase entity 5244 Ramsey Way LLC mortgaged the property to KeyBank NA for two mortgages totaling $1.07 million.
