TAMPA — Wufoo, a Tampa-based firm that allows users to create highly customizable online forms, was acquired today by SurveyMonkey. While financial terms of the deal were not officially disclosed, TechCrunch, a popular tech blog, reports that Wufoo received $35 million in cash and stock in the deal.

As part of the deal, all of Wufoo's current employees are headed to Palo Alto, Calif., where SurveyMonkey is based, Wufoo says in a statement.

Wufoo represents SurveyMonkey's third acquisition of an outside tech firm in recent months. Last November, the company raised $100 million from a debt issuance.
