If so, VCorp Services, a suburban New York City-based company that provides incorporation services for small businesses nationwide, has a contest for you. The company recently announced it's running a competition where the winners will receive free incorporation services.
“These are tough economic times, but they also present an incredible opportunity for people who've considered starting their own businesses to finally take the leap of faith and do it,” Vcorp Services' chief executive and founder Isaac Muller says in a statement. “In a better economy, people are more likely to look for employment rather than start their own businesses.”
The competition begins May 1 and runs through July 31. Entrepreneurs from any state are eligible to submit an entry, which consists of a business plan and other company information. Judges will be looking at the plan's presentation, creativity, viability and other business factors. Winners will be awarded a free state filing for a corporation or limited liability company (LLC).
