NAPLES — Marc Hetzner has joined the law firm Galbraith PLLC as partner in its Trusts and Real Estate Department.

He spent the prior 32 years with Indianapolis-Based Krieg DeVault Alexander & Capehart, where he provided estate planning and administration for wealthy clients, many of whom owned substantial closely held business interests, according to a statement.

He will divide his time between Galbraith’s Indianapolis and Naples offices, the release adds.

Licensed to practice law in Florida and Indiana, Hetzner is also board-certified in tax law by the Florida Bar Association. As partner, he will offer experience in all areas of estate planning including income and estate tax matters as well as succession, gift, tax and charitable planning strategies.

“Marc has an immeasurable depth of knowledge,” says Brad Galbraith, the firm’s managing partner, in a statement. “His first-hand experience with some of Indiana’s most complex estate settlement cases is not just an asset to the firm, but it provides an extra level of wisdom that our clients will enjoy.”

Hetzner has tried tax cases before the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. District Court, the Indiana Tax Court; and argued tax cases before the Indiana Supreme Court and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
