SARASOTA/ BRADENTON - United Airlines will increase flights between Sarasota Bradenton International (SRQ) and Chicago O'Hare (ORD) to twice daily from Dec. 19 to Jan. 6, according to the Sarasota Manatee Airport Authority.

“It is great to see United Airlines add flights to SRQ for the upcoming holidays based upon strong demand to and from Chicago,” says SRQ President and CEO Frederick J. Piccolo. “We view this as a positive step and are hopeful this could lead to additional service increases in the winter schedule.”

The two daily departures from SRQ will be at 10:56 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. The flights from Chicago will be at 6:15 a.m. and 9:40 a.m.
