Specialty grocer to hire 110 workers — virtually — for new store

Sprouts Farmers Market sets a July 15 opening date for its Seminole location.

SEMINOLE — Sprouts Farmers Market is set to expand in the Tampa Bay region again, with a new store in Seminole that will open on July 15.

According to a press release, the Phoenix-based specialty grocery chain plans to hire 110 workers to staff the 32,000-square-foot market, located at 7263 Seminole Blvd. The new jobs will be a mix of full- and part-time positions. 

Sprouts, the release states, is looking for department managers, assistant department managers and clerks, cashiers, courtesy clerks, a backup receiver, administrative coordinator and scan coordinator. A virtual hiring fair featuring video interviews will take place June 3-4 at sprouts.com/careers

Sprouts reported gross annual revenue of $5.21 billion in 2019, an 11.8% increase from $4.66 billion in 2018.
