CLEARWATER — The Shoppes on Sand Key retail center, located at 1261 Gulf Blvd. in Clearwater, sold for $9.1 million, according to a news release.
Klein & Heuchan Inc. represented the seller, D.A. Bennett Co., in the sale of the 40,000-square-foot waterfront property. Mark Klein and Steven Klein handled the transaction. Boca Raton-based RNJ Sand Key LLC purchased the shopping center.
The center was 98% occupied at the time of the sale and is anchored by The Columbia Restaurant, Backwaters on Sand Key, and Dunkin' Donuts.
In the release, Steven Klein says the property is the only retail center along a five-mile stretch of Gulf Boulevard from Clearwater Beach to Indian Rocks Beach.
