Real estate brokerage expands to Orlando region with merger

Premier Sotheby’s International Realty aims to build on its luxury services in Central Florida.

NAPLES — Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, one of the largest residential real estate brokerages in the region, has merged with Regal Real Estate Professionals, a luxury brokerage in Central Florida.

Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

Under the merger, the four former Regal Real Estate Professionals offices, in Orlando (Dr. Phillips), Winter Park, Clermont and Lake Mary, will now operate under the banner of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, according to a statement. Also, the 85 employees affiliated with Regal Real Estate Professionals will join the Premier Sotheby’s International Realty team, the release adds.

Officials add that Premier Sotheby’s International’s position as the leader in homes sold above $1 million in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake and Volusia Counties will be strengthened with this deal.

“I’ve spent the last 10 years working to build the Regal luxury brand in in Central Florida and have always strived to provide the best tools for our agents and marketing for our listings,” Regal Real Estate Professionals Broker/Owner Christ Christensen says in the statement. “I’m honored to become a part of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty and couldn’t imagine a better partner to take what we have been doing to a whole new level.”

Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, a division of The Lutgert Cos., has over 1,200 associates and employees in 40 locations throughout Florida and North Carolina. It had $136.3 million in revenue in 2019.
