LAW FIRM ON DEED: Holland & Knight LLP, Miami
PLANS, DESCRIPTION: An investment group managed by Thomas Kretchik of Wyoming, Pa. purchased the Weeks Fish Camp Marina for $2.15 million.
The price equated to $215,000 per acre based on an approximate acreage.
The 10-acre fish camp and marina has 15 wet boat slips, a boat ramp, a small wooden feed-bait shack and unattached wooden structures for kayak rentals. The property connected to Coconut Road by gravel and dirt roads.
Bill Fraser with Atlantic Retail Properties in Jupiter represented the investment group and is a consultant on the project.
“[The buyer] is working out the details to redevelop the marina into a first class facility to offer the local residents the opportunity to enjoy the Estero Bay and all that it has to offer,” Fraser says in a written statement to the Business Review.
The Weeks family created the fish camp in the 1940s.
