ST. PETERSBURG — The Pinellas Community Foundation has set up a fund to assist artists, arts organizations and creative businesses whose livelihoods have been impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.
Dubbed the Pinellas Arts Community Relief Fund, the resource will provide rapid-response awards of $500 to $1,500 to meet urgent financial needs.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and based in Pinellas County at the time of application and payment. They must also prove urgent financial hardship due to lost wages and earnings, costly medical expenses, inability to make rent/mortgage or utility payments, inability to buy food or loss of income and other business opportunities from event or school cancellations.
Funding comes from the Foundation for a Healthy St. Pete, the Pinellas Community Foundation, St. Petersburg Arts Alliance and Creative Pinellas.
