FORT MYERS — LTC Global, a leading provider of capital to insurance agents and agencies through commission programs and renewal commission purchase, has acquired American Insurance Marketing Services of Montgomery, Ala.
Industry veteran Carlton Center has been named president of the company, succeeding Ashley Aaron, according to a statement. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Through its agency subsidiaries, Fort Myers-based LTC Global is a national distributor of life and health insurance products and the largest independent distributor of long-term care insurance, the release states.
“We have admired AIMS as a competitor and are fortunate to have the opportunity to join forces,” says LTC Global CEO Daniel Schmedlen Jr. in a statement. “AIMS has a well-earned reputation for excellence and a tremendous history of production. We believe that AIMS is a great fit for LTC Global, and we are committed to growing the business.”
Center has worked in various capacities for AIMS since 1988 and separately, founded LTC Solutions in 1992. Throughout his career, Center has distributed insurance products through partnerships with associations including large employee and professional groups.
