National law firm Quarles & Brady named Benjamin Brown office managing partner of the firm’s Naples office. The move was effective June 27.

Brown succeeds Kelly Davis, who is pursuing an in-house counsel role with a global health care company, according to a statement. Brown, who joined Quarles & Brady in 2006 and will continue his full-time practice, is the Florida chair of the firm’s commercial litigation practice group, the release adds.

“Ben’s strong roots both in Florida and with our firm make him the ideal choice to accelerate the momentum we’ve established with our Naples office,” Quarles & Brady managing partner Mike Aldana says in the release. “He has demonstrated his leadership ability in a variety of ways in recent years, from spurring growth of our litigation practice in Florida to the way he helps newer attorneys grow and develop.”

Brown practices at both the trial and appellate court levels, representing local and national lenders, loan servicers, contractors, professional fiduciaries and other sophisticated parties. He focuses his practice on complex business, real estate and construction disputes, including title litigation, creditor rights matters, probate and trust litigation, and insurance disputes.

“We have an outstanding team in Naples, and I’m proud to get this opportunity to help drive our ongoing success,” Brown says in the release. “As a firm, we have a deep commitment to a client-first mindset and to giving back to the communities in which we live and work. We take both of those commitments to heart in Naples, and I look forward to building on that foundation.”
