BRADENTON — After experiencing some business losses during the recession, the Main Street at Lakewood Ranch announces the area will get nine new businesses in the first few months of 2012.
According to a release, the mixed-use area will add Soma, a national franchise owned by Chico's selling women's intimate apparel; Premier Sotheby's International Realty will replace Prudential Palms March 1; JPan Sushi will replace Saijo Sushi; and The American Shore Trading Company will open in the space formerly occupied by Little Bookworms. The latter is a local family-owned business that sells eco-friendly skateboard and surfboard apparel and accessories.
Other additions to the plaza include Lorelei's clothing store, the Naples Soap Co., Fast N Fresh casual restaurant and Pincher's Crab Shack. Berlin Patten will also open its third office there.
Main Street at Lakewood Ranch is located across from Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, off University Parkway in Bradenton.
