NAPLES — Tracy Tirrell, who began her Marriott career more than 20 years ago as a front desk associate, has been promoted to senior marketing manager of JW Marriott Marco Island.
Tirrell was most recently destination sales executive of the property, according to a statement.
In her new role, Tracy will work with all departments to advance marketing needs of the complex resort and all its amenities, according to a statement. She’ll partner closely with the resort’s field marketing team to uphold the equity of the JW Marriott Brand, as well as the marketing initiatives of JW Marriott Marco Island's regional and global brand campaigns, the release adds.
Tirrell began her career at Marriott at the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort in January 1997, at the front desk, right out of college. She has since held a variety of leadership positions in the front office and rooms arena. Hotel officials, in the release, say her efforts in the “Good for Marco” public interest campaign to build a new Lanai Tower with more than 100,000 square feet of technologically integrated meeting and event space on the property, was “truly instrumental to the process.”
