FORT MYERS -- Sandy Heise, president-elect of Lee Memorial Auxiliary, was elected treasurer of the Association of Florida Healthcare Auxiliaries/Volunteers. The AFHAV is a statewide organization that provides collaborative opportunities to volunteer healthcare organizations.
In addition to her role as treasurer, Heise will take on two other roles: she will be Trade Show Chairman at the AFHAV's annual meeting, and the group's Outreach Chairman.
The Lee Memorial Auxiliary supports Lee Memorial Health System with efforts in community communication, health-related education, and fundraising.
