TAMPA — Attorneys Daniel Fleming and Philip Mokris have joined the Tampa office of law firm of GrayRobinson P.A., the practice announced Wednesday.

Fleming becomes a GrayRobinson shareholder, while Mokris joins as Of Counsel to the firm. Both veteran trial attorneys had previously worked for the Tampa firm of Melkus, Fleming & Gutierrez P.L.

“Dan and Phil bring a breadth of legal and trial experience to the firm that is rare and very valuable to our clients,” says Mayanne Downs, GrayRobinson's president and managing director, in a statement.

Fleming has worked on more than two dozen trials nationwide, largely on a civil defense basis. His practice is centered on the railroad, amusement park and pharmaceutical industries, and on trucking accidents.

Mokris, who previously worked as a Special Agent with the FBI and as staff counsel for the Office of Personnel Management in Washington, D.C., focuses his practice on insurance defense and on estate planning.

Founded in 1970, GrayRobinson today maintains 13 offices across Florida with more than 300 attorneys and consultants.
