SARSOTA — Kohl's Corp. (symbol: KSS) plans to hire 130 employees for its new store location in Sarasota at 3860 Central Sarasota Parkway, which is slated to open next month.
Kohl's stock price has improved more than 10% over the past year, to nearly $52 per share, setting the company's total enterprise value at roughly $15 billion. The retailer's annual revenues fell slightly in 2008, but since then have grown 11%, to $18.3 billion in 2010.
New Kohl's stores typically require 130 hires prior to opening. There are currently two other Kohl's locations in the Sarasota area.
