TAMPA — Dr. Edmondo Robinson has joined Moffitt Cancer Center as senior vice president and chief digital innovation officer, a newly created role the Tampa-based institution says will be critical to its successful navigation of a continually evolving health care industry.
Robinson, the release states, brings more than 16 years of clinical and technology experience to Moffitt. He’s been charged with delivering consumer-oriented, real-world solutions for clinical practice, research and administrative processes essential to support growth and competitive advantage.
As chief digital innovation officer, Robinson will also oversee the development and commercialization of health products, tools and technology.
“We are so pleased to have Edmondo join Moffitt Cancer Center and help us drive innovations to better position us for the future,” states Yvette Tremonti, Moffitt’s chief financial and administrative officer, in the release. “He will be the visionary and catalyst needed to ensure Moffitt continues to deliver the best cancer care for our patients.”
